If you are an asset based loan examiner with five or more years of experience, ABL Exam Pros would like to talk with you about the possibility of joining our team of leading-edge exam professionals!
We have immediate openings for senior consultants to perform field examinations for our Bank clients to determine collateral adequacy, identify operational issues, and make recommendations to enhance and protect the Bank's collateral position.
We are based in the Boston area and many assignments do not require overnight travel.
Essential Qualifications:
- BS or BA in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years experience in ABL Field Examination work.
- Strong business writing skills.
- Financial analysis skills, including an understanding of accounting principles, the balance sheet and income statement, debt service calculations, cash flow, collateral values, and the general ledger.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Able to gather information at a customer's site under time-critical and often challenging conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experience in determining appropriate advance rates and ineligibles for accounts receivable, inventories, and equipment.
- Experience in evaluating accounting systems and internal controls.
- Experience in examining troubled or non-performing loans, a plus!
